1. Need of the Module
Quantitative aptitude measures numerical ability and problem solving skills of students. In most of the placement exam, quantitative aptitude test is conducted as a part of the written exam, which is usually the very first round of the selection process.’
Quantitative aptitude test basically involves mathematical questions. Quantitative aptitude shows one’s ability to comprehend and solve problems.
As the test is time bound, they also test the logical thinking of the candidates and their ability to reason and make effective decision quickly under pressure.
2. Objective of the Module
Aptitude deals in enhancing the abilities of the students and makes them Avant-grade and placement ready by providing them advance learning program. Reasoning enables students to hone their skills so that they are able to use an appropriate approach to tackle the particular situation in the best possible way.
3. Expected Outcome
After successful completion of the module it is expected that students-
- Will be able to critically evaluate various real life situations by resorting to analysis of key issues and factors.
- Will be able to read between the lines and understand various language structures.
- Will have a fair knowledge of Reasoning Ability.
- Will able to solve problems and correctly arrive at meaningful conclusions regarding their answers.

6. Evaluation System
The evaluation and assessment plan consists of the following components:
Class attendance and participation in class discussions etc.:
- Substantial in-class contribution about class topics and discussion questions.
- Response to other students’ queries
- Contribution in discussion and chat sessions
Quizzes:
- Quizzes will be of multiple choice types.
Home-works and assignments:
- The assignments/home-works may be of multiple choice type or comprehensive type.
The grades and detailed solutions of assignments (of both types) will be shared online/ during classes after the submission deadline.
